Testimonials
Testimonials are short reviews from your members. Once you approve one, it can appear on your club’s website.
Where testimonials come from
Section titled “Where testimonials come from”- The member app. Under Past Events, members can rate an event and write a testimonial about it.
- Share Your Experience. A public page linked from your events site. Anyone can write one. They enter their email and birthday, which JackOps uses to match them to their member record and the event they attended.
Reviewing them
Section titled “Reviewing them”Go to Testimonials in the sidebar (managers and owners). New ones wait as pending. For each one you can:
- Approve it, so it can be shown on your website
- Reject it, so it’s never shown
When a testimonial is matched to a member, you’ll see who sent it and which event it was about.
Points for members
Section titled “Points for members”If your club uses Bator Points, a member earns points when their testimonial is approved, not when they submit it.
How names appear
Section titled “How names appear”Members choose how they’re credited, for example by a handle they’ve set in their member profile, so their real name isn’t published unless they want it to be.
