Welcome & Getting Started

This guide walks you through everything you need to run your club on JackOps. If you can use a web browser, you can use this.

  • Registration and payments. Members sign up for your events and pay online, or choose to pay at the door.
  • Check-in. Scan a member’s QR code at the door, or look them up by name.
  • The Member App. Members get their own portal for their profile, events, credits and rewards.
  • Announcements. Post updates that show up on your members’ home screen.
  • ReB8 (optional). Helps attendees connect with each other after a session.
  • Bator Points (optional). A rewards program for your regulars.
  • Reports. Attendance, revenue, profit and loss, and where your members come from.

Go to your admin panel (the link you were given when your club was set up) and sign in with your email and password. If you don’t have a login yet, ask your club’s owner to invite you (see Club Settings).

You’ll land on Events, a list of your events. That’s your home base.

Every staff member has one of three roles:

Role Can do
Door Staff Check people in, verify ID, enter tag numbers, take payment through the QR scanner
Manager Everything day to day: events, payments at the door, members, testimonials, announcements, reports
Owner Everything, plus refunds, removing people, issuing credits, money settings and managing staff

If a button in this guide doesn’t appear for you, it’s usually because your role doesn’t include it.

Menu What’s there
Events All your events, and each event’s roster and check-in
Missed Connections ReB8 posts across your events (if you use ReB8)
Bros Your member list and each member’s profile
Testimonials Reviews members have sent in, waiting for your approval
Announcements Updates for your members’ home screen
Reports Annual numbers, financials, profit and loss, member locations
Leaderboard Who has the most Bator Points
Logs A record of important actions and who took them
Settings Club details, emails, venues, event types and more

The version number at the bottom of the sidebar (for example “JackOps Admin v1.1.1”) tells you which release you’re on. It’s handy to mention if you report a problem.

You’ll see the word “bro” throughout JackOps. It’s the system’s word for a member record. Everyone who registers for an event, regular or first-timer, is a “bro” in the system.

Setting up your first event? Start with Creating Your First Event. Already up and running? Use the sidebar: each page covers one part of running your club.
