Announcements

Announcements appear on the home screen of every member’s app. It’s the fastest way to get a message in front of your whole club without sending an email.

Posting one

Go to Announcements in the sidebar and fill in:

• Title and message. Keep it short. It shows on a card, not in an email.
• Link (optional). Somewhere to go for more information.
• Expiry date (optional). It stops showing after this, so old news doesn’t linger.

Then choose when it goes live:

• Save as draft. Not visible to anyone yet.
• Publish immediately.
• Schedule for later. Pick a date and time and it goes live on its own.

Adding a link inside your message

For a clickable link in the middle of your text, write it like this: [link text](https://your-link-here).

Managing what’s live

Below the form is every announcement you’ve posted, whether draft, scheduled, published or expired, with buttons to edit, publish now, unpublish or delete.

Good to know

• Announcements go to everyone at your club. You can’t target specific members.
• Editing a published announcement doesn’t change its publish date, so fixing a typo won’t bump it to the top.
